My baby crawled around inside a playpen, while I worked 12-hour days cleaning the floors, and removing wallpaper. Ha! Ha! It all started to make sense, but was far from completed. It would take an enormous amount of effort and my personal favorite brands to furnish this home. To stay the cost within my means I took my kids along to search for treasures in estate sales. My house was transformed into a space that I hosted open houses, where up to 1,000 people could view the things on my first floor before purchasing the items. Growing Days was created in this home. If you'd said to me that this company of mine could become an idea for a TV show for the DIY Network I probably would have laughed. If I think at it, it has made me smile.
