Molly Tarlov is an American actress best known for her starring role as Sadie Saxton in the teen comedy-drama television show Awkward from 2011. Tarlov is the youngest of two daughters was raised and grew up within Manhattan, New York. At the age of 10-years-old, she began her career as an actor in the production Bye Bye Birdie, at Little Red School House. The group of 7th year olds who watched the show were extremely impressed. Later in her career she attended NYU Tisch at Paris as well as the Interlochen Center for the Arts. Bennington College awarded her a Bachelor of Arts degree in theatre. She studied a variety of styles of acting. The Atlantic Theater Company, where she was a student and also taught her how to integrate writing and acting during the LAByrinth Theater's Master Class. Molly gave away her winter coat and purchased a pair of glasses in black on her way for Los Angeles. Within a few days she was offered a tiny part on iCarly which attracted lots of attention from her family. She's since made several television series and portrayed Caitlin, the main role in Winnie and Savannah Dooley's ABC Family series Huge. Molly thinks she is good at basketball, however she isn't. Her favourite writers include David Mamet, Henrik Ibsen and Lauren Iungerich.
